Our Story
The Beginning
I grew up in Egypt, and sugarcane juice was just part of life there. You'd see a vendor on almost every corner with a press, and they'd hand you a cup, or just a plastic bag with a straw in it, and that was your drink. It wasn't a treat, it was normal. I didn't think twice about it until I moved to the US and realized I couldn't find it anywhere. Not at a grocery store, not at a juice bar, nowhere. I looked for a long time.
Eventually I stopped looking and decided to just make it myself. I found a press, figured out how to source good cane, and started setting up a pop-up, not knowing if anyone outside of Egypt would even want to try it. People lined up. A few of them told me "it tastes like back home, and even better," and that's when I knew this was worth doing for real.
Our Mission
Everything I sell is pressed fresh, right there at the pop-up, in front of you. No concentrate, no shortcuts, nothing sitting in a bottle for weeks. Since this is still a very new business, I press every stalk myself, and honestly I like it that way. It keeps me close to the product and close to the people buying it.
My goal has never been complicated. I want to make the best sugarcane juice you can get outside of Egypt, and I want it to give someone a taste of home, whether that home is Egypt, Pakistan, or somewhere else entirely. This is still the beginning for us, just me and a pop-up, and I'm building it one event at a time. Wherever it grows from here, I want it to keep feeling like the same thing it started as: something simple, something real, and something that makes your day a little sweeter.

This policy explains what happens with your information when you use this website. Sukkar LLC ("Sukkar," "we") keeps things simple.
What we collect
This website does not have accounts, and it does not track you. We only receive what you choose to send us: your name, email, and message if you use the contact form, or your name, contact information, event date, and guest count if you fill out the booking form.
How we use it
We use what you send only to reply to you, prepare a quote, and plan your event. We don't sell your information.
Third-party services
- Our hosting provider (Netlify) processes contact form messages and delivers them to our email. Google Forms handles booking requests, and Google Fonts loads our typeface. Google may receive technical data such as your IP address. See Google's privacy policy.
- Links to Instagram and TikTok take you to those platforms, which have their own privacy policies.
Cookies
We don't set cookies or run analytics on this site. Third-party services above may set their own.
Your choices
You can ask us to update or delete the details you sent us by messaging @sukkar.cane on Instagram.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
